Nick Robinson Lands Role in 'Jurassic World'

The cast of Jurassic World continues to grow as a new report has announced that Nick Robinson has joined the cast. Nick was a breakout star in Kings of Summer and can also be seen on ABC Family's Melissa & Joey.

Following the news that 12 year old Ty Simpkins has also been cast in the film, it is assumed that Nick Robinson would be playing his older brother. Bryce Dallas Howard is also in talks to join the movie, directed by Colin Trevorrow and executive produced by Steven Spielberg.

While this is exciting, I'm still holding out hope for appearances by any of the original cast (Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, etc.). I've been waiting for this movie for about 12 years. I'm going to need them to pass the torch if a new trilogy really is in the works.
