Nick Jonas Confirms American Idol Still Considering Him as Judge

Nick Jonas is still talking to American Idol producers about potentially filling one of the vacant judging spots for the 2013 season.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Jonas revealed that while new names crop up every day, he is in indeed still being considered for one of the vacant judging positions on American Idol.

Jonas says that he is definitely interested in the gig, but " … it's something I would like to do if it was right, but it's got to be right on both ends."

Thus far, only Mariah Carey seems to be 100% confirmed, while Nicki Minaj has been reported as a "sure thing,"  but not confirmed.  Rumors abound that Randy Jackson will be leaving the judging panel for a mentoring role, while the remaining spots on the panel continue to generate lots of speculation.

Kanye West, Lenny Kravitz, Adam Lambert, Enrique Iglesias, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley have all been in the news of late as potential judges.
