Nexus 5 for sale on Google Play by accident

Google Nexus 5 appeared for a brief moment on Google Play today.

The new device is priced at $349 off contract for the 16 GB model.

The tagline is: "Capture everyday and the epic in fresh new ways."

The screen also shows a time of 4:40 which means that it will be shipping with Android 4.4 KitKat.

I want I want I want!

I cannot wait for the Nexus 5 to be my next phone!

Looks like Google is going for the record of "most leaked" phone this year trying to beat the Apple iPhone 5S. It's like the device is already here -- just sell it already. Take our money Google!

Here's also hoping that Google Play is ready for this release. I have so many bad memories from the Nexus 4 launch and re-launch.

Update: A reader just informed me that the Nexus 5 was up for "44 minutes" yesterday. It looks like an easter egg! So all these "leaks" are coming from Google??? Well played!
