New York Giants Win Super Bowl XLII

One of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history.

The New York Football Giants upset the highly-favored New England Patriots 17-14 to win Super Bowl XLII. The New York Giants become the lowest seeded wildcard team to win a Super Bowl. They also assure that the 1972 Miami Dolphins continue to be the only team to have a perfect season and win a Super Bowl. The New England Patriots won more games than anyone this year, but they did not win everything.

The New England Patriots go 18-1.
