New Michael Jackson album, 'Xscape' to be released this May

Xscape is coming.

No, I'm not talking about the return of the girl group featuring Tiny Cottle-Harris and Kandi Burrus. It's a new Michael Jackson album with unheard material.

The album will feature 8 unreleased songs by the King of Pop and is currently set for release on May 13 via Epic Records and the Estate of Michael Jackson.

Epic chariman L.A. Reid was granted access to decades of material, then enlisted such as Timbaland, Darkchild, and Stargate to give them a contemporary feel, while retaining "integrity." The deluxe edition will have the songs in their original form.

I'm not minding this project. It seems better thoughtout, sincere, and better-executed than his first posthumous album.
