New Male Lead cast in BET's The Game

Hot on the trail of news that actress Lauren London has been cast as the new female lead in BET's The Game, it has now been revealed who has replaced Pooch Hall's Derwin.

Newbie actor Jay Ellis comes to the series as Bryce "The Blueprint" Westbrook, "a star running back from an Ivy League school who has a tendency to rub his new professional teammates the wrong way.” Ellis will star alongside London, who will portray his love interest. Ellis previously appeared in small rolls on N.C.I.S. and Grey's Anatomy, among others.

So we've have been forced to say goodbye to Melanie (Tia Mowry-Hardrict) and Derwin and hello to Kiera & Blue. I'm hoping this doesn't spell "The End" for the once monster urban series.
