New Johnny Cash Music To Be Released After 'Out Among The Stars'

According to this BBC article, John Carter Cash has confirmed that there is plenty of unreleased music from his father, Johnny Cash, in the vaults.

Recently we found out that some recordings Johnny did (including with his wife June Carter and fellow outlaw Waylon Jennings) in the early 1980's has been rediscovered. Johnny had kept them and stored them away after he'd been dropped from his label, the recordings rejected. The collection, Out Among The Stars, will be released on March 25th, but it seems there's plenty more where that came from, and John plans to release it in time.

"Do you want to see another Picasso if there's one that nobody has ever seen before?" he asked. "I would say that probably the world would want to see another Picasso. And it's really the same thing. This is a work of art."

There is no word yet on when these other recordings will be released.
