Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor may have regenerated into Peter Capaldi's Twelfth in the 2013 Christmas special, "The Time of the Doctor", but the Eleventh Doctor's adventures are far from over.

The Random House Group is publishing the Doctor Who Time Trips series, a collection of e-books to be published monthly throughout 2014, featuring stories from a variety of authors across different genres and styles of writing. The first installment is “Into the Nowhere” by popular women’s fiction author Jenny T. Colgan, who returns to the Doctor Who canon after writing and publishing Doctor Who: Dark Horizons in 2012.

Into the Nowhere is an Eleventh Doctor story featuring Clara Oswald. The story centers on the pair landing on an unknown alien planet that, surprisingly, really is unknown. The Doctor has never seen or heard of this planet, as it’s not on any of his maps, nor referenced on any of his star charts or the TARDIS data banks. The planet doesn’t even have a name. So what is it about this planet that could possibly be so terrible for its existence to be erased?

You can download the e-book now via Amazon and NetGalley, where you can find future installments in the Doctor Who Time Trips series. Authors of subsequent books in the series include Nick Harkaway and Cecilia Ahern, among other celebrated genre writers.
