Netflix Orders 'Punisher' Spinoff Series Starring Jon Bernthal

It was bound to happen: Netflix has ordered "Punisher" to series after the success of the character in "Daredevil" Season 2.

The series will star Jon Bernthal as the Punisher (aka Frank Castle) and "Hannibal's" Steve Lightfoot will be the showrunner, according to CBR.

This is now the fifth series from Marvel on Netflix following: "Daredevil," "Jessica Jones," "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist."

So excited for this!

I'm really so happy for Jon. This is yet another role of a lifetime for him after he got a previous role of a lifetime on "The Walking Dead."
