Netflix Developing Another Season of 'Arrested Development'

Netflix isn't through with the Bluths just yet.

Reuters reports that Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s chief content officer, has said there is “no question” that Arrested Development will return for another season, adding, “It is just a matter of when and what form it takes.”

Scheduling remains an issue with the cast, and is the biggest obstacle to another season at the moment. “It’s still speculative,” Sarandos said.

Netflix brought back the FOX comedy for a fourth season in May, after it was originally canceled by FOX in 2006. The latest season earned Netflix some of its first Emmy nominations ever, as Jason Bateman scored a nod for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, accompanying the show's craft nominations for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Comedy Series and Outstanding Music Composition for a Series.
