Neil Patrick Harris will be taking on the moniker of Hedwig (not to be confused with the owl) on Broadway for the cult classic hit Hedwig and the Angry Inch and now he's shared a glitter covered first look.

NPH debuted the poster on his Twitter account, excitedly sharing that he got to reveal the very first ad for the upcoming show, which is making its first turn on Broadway.

As Harris excitedly revealed on Twitter, "Hedwig News! The first ad image was just released, and I get to debut it! Tickets go on sale soon..."

The play follows Hedwig, played by Harris, a transgender lead singer of a rock band from East Germany who is desperately trying to make a name for herself after all her songs are stolen by her teenage protege Tommy Gnosis who goes on to achieve rock stardom.

It was well-received Off Broadway in 1997 and adapted for the screen in 2001 to sadly less success.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hedwig will begin preview performances at the Belasco Theatre in New York City on March 29, with the official opening night slated for April 22.
