NBC's Major Overhaul - Cancels 'Whitney' '1600 Penn' & more
E!
According to TVLine, NBC is currently in the process of a major retooling. News broke today of the cancellations of both Whitney and 1600 Penn. It was also announced prior that Deception would not be returning, but this string of sad news (depending on how you look at it) is allegedly only the beginning. NBC is expected to make more big decisions regarding its future lineup shortly.
Thus, this post is in development. Poor Whitney Cummings recently endured the cancellation of her fledgling late night talk show, Love You, Mean It.
Guys With Kids and Up All Night join the list of axed shows.
Finally, some positive news: Parks and Recreation has been officially renewed for Season 6! (Thanks for the tip, Nick!)
