NBC Renews 'Undateable' for Season 2

NBC hasn't always been in the most giving mood to its comedies in the past year, canning shows like The Michael J. Fox Show and Sean Saves the World. But not every sitcom has been so unlucky.

Undateable has been renewed for a second season by the network. The news was confirmed on Twitter by star Chris D'Elia, who knows a thing or two about starring on a doomed sitcom, having been the male lead on the short-lived Whitney.

Here to report - Undateable season 2 is a GO. Operation: Chris buys a spaceship is coming to fruition.

The show, about four friends tackling the dating scene, premiered in May and has been a respectable performer in the ratings. And it's actually been a far better show than the trailers would have ever suggested, so kudos to the cast and crew on the renewal.
