From the big screen to the small screen, it's looking like DC Comics' John Constantine is getting another crack at the spotlight.

Entertainment Weekly reports that NBC has ordered a script from Warner Bros. TV based on the brooding supernatural detective, portrayed by Keanu Reeves in the 2005 film Constantine.

David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel) will write the script for the series, which will be executive produced by Daniel Cerone (The Mentalist). Should NBC greenlight the pilot, the series could make the shortlist for next year's fall season.
