NBC Announces Premiere Dates for 'About A Boy', 'Believe', More
NBC is locking in its post-Olympics, midseason schedule. The network has announced premiere dates for five of its upcoming midseason series: comedies About a Boy and Growing Up Fisher, dramas Believe and Crisis, and "alternative program" American Dream Builders. Check out the premiere dates below:

About A Boy, created for television by Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) and adapted from the best-selling Nick Hornby novel (which was made into a 2002 film starring Hugh Grant), will premiere with a preview in primetime during the Winter Olympics on Friday, Feb. 21 at 10:30 PM. The series will then settle into its regular time time slot on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 9:00 PM ET/PT following The Voice.
Growing Up Fisher, from creator DJ Nash and starring J.K. Simmons and Jenna Elfman, will also have a special preview premiere during the Winter Olympics on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10:30 PM, following coverage of the Closing Ceremonies. The series will then resume its regular time slot on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 9:30 PM following About a Boy.
Meanwhile, Believe, from executive producers J.J. Abrams (Revolution) and Alfonso Cuarón (Gravity), who also directed the pilot, will have a special preview Monday, March 10 at 10:00 PM following The Voice. The series will then premiere in its regular time slot on Sunday, March 16 at 9:00 PM. Believe is billed as a "suspense drama," and the plot centers on a 10-year-old girl with unique powers who must be protected from falling into the wrong hands.
The other big midseason drama is Crisis, which stars Gillian Anderson and Dermot Mulroney as elite and influential Washington, D.C. parents who go to extreme lengths when their children are put in jeopardy by a man who is out for revenge. The series will premiere Sunday, March 16 at 10:00 PM.
Lastly, American Dream Builders is a reality competition series hosted by Nate Berkus in which 12 of the country’s most accomplished designers and builders are pitted against each other as they tackle massive home renovation projects, featuring unique architectural styles. The show is set to premiere Sunday, March 23 at 8:00 PM.
So, all in all, it's looking to be a stacked midseason for NBC.
