Nathan Parsons Replaces Luke Grimes In 'True Blood' Season 7

It looks like Jessica is getting a new love interest in season 7 of True Blood. Sort of.

Luke Grimes has officially been replaced on the show and his character has been recast. James, love interest to Deborah Ann Woll's character Jessica, will now be played by Nathan Parsons. The news that Luke asked to be let out of his contract was reported last month after the actor discovered the writers were "going in a different direction" with James. That and he landed a part in Fifty Shades of Grey.

Viewers may recognize Nathan for his role on ABC Family's drama series Bunheads and the soap opera General Hospital.

TVLine reports that the character James will be involved in a surprising love triangle in the new season.
