Natalie Dormer to Guest Star on 'Elementary'

Collider

Natalie Dormer has been officially cast for a guest stint on CBS' Elementary! Dormer, who can currently be seen as Margaery Tyrell on HBO's Game of Thrones, will be playing the role of Irene Adler. Fans of the Sherlock Holmes series know the relationship with Adler to be quite possibly the most pivotal romance of the classic story. Dormer will appear in both the May 9th episode of the show's current season, as well as the season finale.

On the casting of Dormer, Executive Producer Rob Doherty had this to say:

I can't think of an actress better suited to the challenge than Natalie.
