My Pet is Dying

I think the combinaton of an unknown disease and cold weather is taking its toll on my poor fish Anakin. I will keep him close to me at all times during these last days. Anakin is now "falling asleep" like every minute and is not eating his juicy freeze-dried bloodworms. I have to shake his bowl to wake him up for fear that he may be finally going into the light. It's strange because this was the same kind of behavior Mr. Pink was exhibiting before he died, until one day I couldn't wake him out of his sleep anymore and he was just floating in the bowl (that was one year and four months ago).
I'll go to the petstore tomorrow to see if there's anything I can buy. I also read somewhere that it's possible that the fish is depressed, and one of the cures is to dump him into a school of female bettas. Hmmm. Where am I supposed to find a school of female bettas?
It is a Chinese belief that having a fish around your house is good luck. Though I don't really believe this, Anakin has been my lucky fish cash cow for more than a year. The financial implications of his passing is now worrying me! Waaaa.
Anakin don't go! There's still so many reasons for you to live. Your purpose here on Earth is not yet finished. Don't leave! Be strong, my fish friend!
