My Homework

Incredibly I am now calling the Netflix DVDs that have been sitting on my desk for a month "homework". (The same goes for the stack of comic books that have been sitting beside them for two weeks.) Thankfully, I mustered enough strength (and two hours) to watch one DVD tonight, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

I must admit that I have never watched a Katharine Hepburn film in its entirety before, and I can't believe I've ignored her all these years. I now think that she is absolutely wonderful. I also found Spencer Tracy's grumpy old man particularly funny. I'll be watching another Hephurn film this week, since the DVDs I have are part of the "Katharine Hepburn Festival" I have on queue at Netflix.
