My Fearless American Idol 9 Top 12 Prediction
This is how I see the Idols stacking up this year during the semi-finals. It's the proverbial guessing game every year, but I might just get it right this year!

Who and notes:
Top 6 Girls:
Katie Stevens - I've been bullish on Katie's chances ever since her audition in Boston and I hope that she takes it all the way to the Finale. Go Team Katie!
Didi Benami - Her rumored insider connections may help her. She's friends with the co-composer of "Terrified" which she sang on the show. But I still love her. No one can make a dead friend relevant like Didi. Go Didi!
Haeley Vaughn - Her uniqueness will carry her through. Simon Cowell commented that they were looking for a Taylor Swift. Haeley is pop country. I like her chances.
Janell Wheeler - Something about her makes me think she'll make it. Maybe it's the legs.
Ashley Rodriguez - One of the prettier girls in the competition -- always good to get a diverse audience in.
Crystal Bowersox - I'm torn. I don't think she'll make it, but she seems to have a fan following. This slot could be taken by Lacey Brown or Lilly Scott depending on how the semi's go.
Top 6 Guys:
Andrew Garcia - After all the pre-Top 24 pimping, there is no way he won't make it. There can only be one Sundance Head, and Andrew is not a Sundance.
Michael Lynche - He has the vocal chops and the personality to keep the show interesting into the Top 12. He's a potential bomb though. I'm torn between him and Tyler Grady on this list.
Casey James - The amount of investment in this guy from Kara DioGuardi will take him safely into the Top 12 in my opinion.
Aaron Kelly - Among the younger guys in the Top 24, Aaron has the best chances of making the Top 12. He's adorable and has a great backstory people will remember.
Jermaine Sellers - He's classic cannon fodder, but cannon fodder that just might make it to the Top 12. Jermaine or Todrick Hall will make it to the next round and I think it's Jermaine since Todrick's story is just a mess.
Lee DeWyze - Well, I have to choose a dark horse, and I think it's Lee. Just the classic trajectory of minimal exposure in the auditions and Hollywood rounds for someone who can sing.
