MTV is as reality TV obsessed as ever, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're keeping room on their schedule for every docudrama on their slate.

The network has canceled Teen Mom 3, the latest installment in the franchise focusing on the continued struggles of young mothers. The news was confirmed by the show's cast on Twitter.

Castmate Alex Sekella tweets:

Yes no more teen mom 3. Guess we weren't enough of train wrecks for it to be interesting. America wants to watch crazies oh well #relieved

Cast member Katie Yeager also confirmed the cancellation and announced her eagerness to move on from the experience and have a normal life with her daughter. She tweets:

I'm grateful for this experience. Molli and I are ready to move on from this and live a normal life. Thanks for all the love and support ??

However, the cancellation of Teen Mom 3 doesn't mean the end of the Teen Mom franchise. Teen Mom 2 returns for season five on Jan. 20.
