MTV is circling dates on their calendar for two of its biggest annual shows.

The network has announced the dates for the 2015 MTV VMAs and the 2015 MTV Movie Awards.

In addition, MTV2, mtvU and Logo TV have confirmed the air dates for their respective awards shows...

The mtvU Woodie Awards, which recognizes "the music voted best by college students," will air live from the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas on Friday, March 20, 2015. Meanwhile, the Logo TV Trailblazers ceremony, which will be taped in NYC, will air during LGBT Pride Month on Sunday, June 28, 2015,. The event will "honor the pioneers who have made historic strides for LGBT equality," and will feature "celebrities, politicians, activists, and trendsetters who are transforming our cultural landscape - as well as musical performances from some of today's biggest artists." Lastly, the MTV2 Fandom Awards, which will be taped during San Diego Comic Con on July 9, 2015, will air on Sunday, July 12, 2015. The ceremony honors "diehard fangirls and fanboys as well as their favorite shows and movies."

So yeah, there's an awards show for nearly everything these days. But as someone who generally enjoys awards shows, that's not exactly a complaint.
