MSNBC Cancels Alec Baldwin's Talk Show 'Up Late'

As expected, Up Late, Alec Baldwin's late night talk show has been canceled by MSNBC.

"We are jointly confirming that Up Late will not continue on MSNBC," said the network and Baldwin's rep in their combined statement.

Added MSNBC in a comment that we find hard to believe, "This is a mutual parting and we wish Alec all the best."

Baldwin's show was temporarily put on hold following an outburst in which he yelled homophobic slurs at a photographer.

He took blame for some of his insulting remarks but not all of them and went so far as to tell another man he loves him to do damage control, but it was too little too late.

Especially since he spent the time in-between verbally and physically attacking even more members of the media. Albeit without the offensive remarks about sexuality.

Not that the show was doing that good anyway, the program's last episode averaged a measly 395,000 viewers.
