Miley Cyrus Performing in Times Square on New Years

For everyone who plans to watch Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014, Miley Cyrus will be performing as the ball drops.

And apparently we have Ryan Seacrest to thank for this. Or hate eternally depending on your feelings about Miley.

Seacrest revealed the news on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, telling the host, "We just added Miley Cyrus to be in Times Square right before the ball drops."

He added, "We try to look for the artist that's created a lot of buzz and had a really big year."
