Billboard reports that Miley Cyrus has landed her first U.K. No. 1 single, in addition to her first top ten hit in the territory. “We Can’t Stop” debuted at #1 with first-week sales of 128,000, ending Avicii’s three-week run at No. 1 with “Wake Me Up”.

Cyrus reached No. 11 on the U.K. singles chart three times previously, with “See You Again” in 2008 and twice in 2009 with “The Climb” and “Party In The U.S.A.”

The singer has kept busy in anticipation of the release of her upcoming album, Bangerz, appearing on the track "23" from producer Mike Will Made It, alongside fellow collaborators Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa.
