Miley Cyrus Will Remain Hospitalized Because of Allergic Reaction - PHOTO

Seems like Miley Cyrus is going to be remaining in the hospital for the foreseeable future after suffering an allergic reaction to an antibiotic which closed her throat.

As a result, Miley was forced to cancel several shows.

According to a rep for Cyrus, the singer suffered a reaction to cephalexin (which she was given for a sinus infection) and will remain in the hospital until the problem clears up.

Which could take anywhere from five to 27 days.

Saddened by this news, Miley shared a selfie of herself.

Cyrus captioned the photo, "over the hospital I miss #bangerztour#5amhospyselfie so sleeeeepy #medztime#wishicouldcuddlefloyd#whojinxedme"

Explained a rep for the singer, "[Miley] will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor’s care until we see some improvement in her condition, and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time."

"[She] is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans."
