Mike Tyson Mysteries at NYCC 2014 (VIDEO)

Mike Tyson was at New York Comic Con 2014 last weekend to promote his new show 'Mike Tyson Mysteries' on Adult Swim.

This was one of the more interesting press rooms I attended last week, with the press buzzing over the presence of the heavyweight boxer turned entertainer in the room. The excitement from everyone was palpable.

Admittedly, I was a little scared when I requested to be part of the press room, but sitting a chair away from Mike Tyson at the table was not bad at all. He even looked me in the eye for a couple of minutes explaining his philosophies in life and I did not run away in fear:

The cast of Mike Tyson Mysteries which include Norm McDonald, Rachel Ramras and Jim Rash, recorded their voice overs together, while Mike did his alone in Las Vegas. Producer Hugh Davidson explained that Mike is a busy guy and this cartoon is just one of the many things he does.

A cartoon of Mike Tyson solving mysteries with a talking pigeon and an adopted Korean daughter. What a concept.

Mike Tyson Mysteries premieres Monday October 27 at 10:30/9:30c on Adult Swim.
