Miguel's Billboard victim may have brain damage

Khyati Shah, the girl on the receiving end of a flying leg drop from R&B singer Miguel at the Billboard Music Awards, may have suffered brain damage, according to the victim's lawyer, Vip Bhola.

Though Bhola has been called an "ambulance chaser" by some, the lawyer insists that Shah has suffered as a result of the incident several weeks back. "Some of the difficulties she's experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury," says Bhola, adding that the Billboard producers responded pathetically to Shah's injury, simply giving her an ice pack for a bruised elbow. Bhola states that Shah should have been rushed to the hospital, immediately.

Bhola states his client is awaiting test results from a neurologist before deciding on appropriate action, which could involve a lawsuit against Miguel and the Billboard Music Awards producers.

Neither Miguel nor the BMA producers would comment on the story.
