Miguel Dakota sings 'Heartless' on America's Got Talent 2014 (VIDEO)

Miguel Dakota sang 'Heartless' on America's Got Talent 2014 Boot Camp on July 23, 2014.

His dad moved to Israel as a government contractor and two years ago his parents divorced.

'Heartless' was Kris Allen's signature song on American Idol -- and it looks like Miguel was channeling a bit of that magic.

"He's emotionally connected to that song," said judge Mel B.

"I don't like that song," said judge Howie Mandel.

Ultimately, the judges decided to put Miguel Dakota through to the live shows and he performs live at Radio City Music Hall next week.

Congratulations!
