Mick Jagger Writes Heartfelt Tribute to Late Girlfriend L'Wren Scott

Fashion designer L'Wren Scott tragically took her life yesterday (March 17) and her longtime boyfriend Mick Jagger has written a heartfelt tribute to her.

Jagger shared his feelings on Facebook, a mere day after learning that Scott -- the woman he had been seeing since 2001 -- had hanged herself in her New York City apartment while he was on tour with the Rolling Stones in Australia.

I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.

We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves.

She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me.

I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received.
