Michelle Forbes Joins 'Orphan Black'

One of the stars of AMC's The Killing and NBC's Chicago Fire is headed to BBC America.

Michelle Forbes is joining Orphan Black for a multi-episode arc in Season 2. She will play Marian Bowles, "a powerful new player at the Dyad Institute with a birds-eye view on the war between Sarah and Rachel."

Forbes, who earned an Emmy nomination for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2011 for her work on The Killing, joins other Season 2 cast members, including Michiel Huisman (Nashville), Peter Outerbridge (Nikita), Ari Millen (Rookie Blue) and Patrick J. Adams (Suits). All in all, this is pretty great news. Forbes is a positively marvelous actress.

Orphan Black returns April 19 on BBC America.
