Michael Sarver - In Love with a Girl - Live in Honolulu MP3

Michael Sarver opens the American Idols Live! 2009 Tour with In Love with a Girl. Michael got eliminated early in the Top 10, almost without fanfare, so he has the added mission of not only waking up the crowd with a banging opening song but also reminding them of who he is.

In Love With A Girl by Gavin DeGraw is a great choice for Michael since his look seems more suited for country than for R&B. Although I must admit, my favorite song from Michael on the tour is Suspicious Minds which is part of the group medley at the end of the first half.

Michael Sarver is one of the most hard-working Idols I've seen over the years. He always finds time to meet the fans at the buses before and after the show and is very active on his Twitter at @michaelsarver1. Hey, I'm jealous -- he has 17,350+ followers and counting! Note to Michael: Chris Sligh only has 4,274+ followers on Twitter but he has made a living making music because of his stint on American Idol 6. Don't let the negative Nellies tell you that it's over. Remember the 1,000 uber-fan rule!
