Michael Sarver and Danny Gokey in Times Square

You guys should really follow me on Twitter here because some good sh#t went down tonight. LOL

After I had met Scott and Todd MacIntyre when I "accidentally happened to be in front of the Majestic where Phantom of the Opera was playing" (more on that later), I read a tweet from Danny Gokey that he was at Junior's with Michael Sarver. Well, that was a block away from where I was, so of course I had to go!

I tried tweeting @dannygokey but there was no response, so what went on was a Twitter conversation between me and my followers whether I should go in the restaurant or not. Meanwhile in the middle of this was me trying to convince Anoop Desai to give me clues on Twitter as to where the bar with a bartender named Carlos was.

After about 40 minutes of waiting outside I decided that it was a fail, so I left. Did some emo reflecting in Times Square for a few minutes and took a picture of the TGIF that Lil Rounds hates. Then I "accidentally passed in front of the hotel where the Idols were staying". LOL Over there, I saw three girls staking out the hotel! I thought of talking to them so I turned around -- but they were not friendly. They scared me so much that I kept on walking back to Times Square.

After deciding not to tweet the Idols to stay away from the scary fans, I headed for Junior's one last time. And there they were: Danny Gokey and Michael Sarver with their friends and Michael's wife Tiffany standing on the sidewalk. "Danny!" I called out. Win!

I talked to them for a bit. Danny was so nice. He told me he was doing some stuff related to his foundation while in New York. He said thank you to me for saying nice things about the "sermon" and he gave me a fist tap. Yay! So happy to finally see him. And yes, the Idols do read Rickey.org and I'm sure they will be reading this!

I asked Danny and Michael to give a video greeting. Michael had some very nice things to say to the fans and Danny said "I'm not as eloquent as Michael," and he also said nice things. Unfortunately, I am a fail at the video and none of this appeared on my memory card. Drat. But thank you Michael and Danny for the shout outs! I did get a Sarvokey (?) Sandwich picture though and also one for Twitter.

And yes, I will write more about you Michael Sarver! I personally know people who think you are HOT.

This was such a win moment. Danny and Michael, the conversation I had with you guys tonight was a life changing moment. Thanks.
