Michael Keaton Goes Crazy In New 'Birdman' Trailer (VIDEO)
Michael Keaton was the original big screen Batman, starring in 1989's Batman and 1992's Batman Returns. But Keaton didn't stick around for a third Batman movie, and some might argue this caused the decline of his career. However, Keaton is back now, and it looks like he's poking fun at himself and his superhero past.
Birdman (or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) is a black comedy that centers on an actor (Keaton) -- famous for playing an iconic superhero -- who struggles to open a Broadway play. As opening night nears, his ego clashes with his family, friends, and himself. Directed by Alejandro Iñárritu, Birdman also stars Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough, Amy Ryan, Emma Stone, and Naomi Watts. It's looking like one of the most unique comedies of the year, and well worth a look. Check out the full trailer below:
