Michael Johns - American Idol Top 12 - Cast Party

Michael Johns at the American Idol Top 12 cast party.

Michael Johns is looking to be the first Australian American Idol. After being heavily pimped during the auditions and Hollywood Week -- and even favored to win by many estimates -- Michael Johns has been overshadowed and outsold by David Cook in the semi-finals. There are still a few more weeks for Michael Johns to make up lost ground and give his fans a reason to root for him again.

I can see a potential Michael Johns, Carly Shithson/Jason Castro, David Cook bottom 3 shocker in the future, which might be interesting.
