Michael Jackson & Justin Bieber Collaboration Reportedly Headed Our Way
The joys of audio technology in 2014 mean that an artist who's been dead for 9 years and an artist who's barely older than 9 years can feature on the same track and be made to sound like a duet. That's what's happening with Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber and 'Slave 2 The Rhythm', which was actually leaked last year but quickly pulled.
The track now appears without Justin's vocals on the collection of unreleased and edited Michael Jackson songs Xscape, which was just recently released. However, L.A. Reid has explained to Access Hollywood that the rest of us will get to hear the track soon, or at least a track with Justin and Michael on it, in none-too-clear terms: "I signed Justin, so I feel a loyalty. I feel like I should protect him. That’s my relationship with him. But ‘Slave 2 The Rhythm’ didn’t include him per my direction … If it hadn’t been leaked, it would have been featured but it sort of took the wrong turn. But you know what? We’re gonna revisit that."
Um, so, yes?
