Michael Cera and John Hawkes to Star in FX Comedy from Charlie Kaufman

FX is gearing up for a great comedy lineup. The network announced today that Michael Cera and John Hawkes would be starring in the upcoming comedy series How & Why. The series will be written and directed by Charlie Kaufman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter:

John Hawkes will star as Goodman Hesselman, the host of the How & Why show. He loses his passion for the show and he is replaced by a younger host. He relocates to a different town to start a similar show with significantly less stature. He once believed that the supernatural was childish and not real, but is not confronted by it during his everyday life during his new transition.

This definitely has the potential to be interesting. Michael Cera will be playing his new boss at the studio.

How & Why is set to begin production this Spring in North Carolina.

This follows the news that Zach Galifianakis would be joining the network in a comedy series as well.
