Michael C. Hall Will Be the Next Hedwig on Broadway

Michael C. Hall (of Dexter fame) will follow in the high-heeled footsteps of Neil Patrick Harris and Andrew Rannells as transgendered East-German singer Hedwig on Broadway.

Hall will take over the lead in Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Oct. 16 after Rannells departs the show (Oct.12) and will rock out in fishnets until January 4th when his run will conclude.

While this announcement may worry some, Hall has had roles in musicals before, appearing on Broadway in 2000 as the Emcee in Cabaret and Billy Flynn in Chicago in 2003.

He also had a fabulous musical number while appearing on the HBO-hit Six Feet Under. You can watch proof of that amazing-ness below.

Tony winner Lena Hall will continue her role as Yitzhak alongside Michael C. Hall.
