Crooner MICHAEL BUBLE has been named the first advisor to coach BLAKE SHELTON's team on season three of THE VOICE.

The successful contemporary singer has been tapped as the first guest mentor on the upcoming season and he will guide Team Blake contestants with their song choices.
Buble, who began filming his stint on Monday, is a self-proclaimed "big Blake fan," and admits he's having a terrific time working with the country star and his team.
Last season, Shelton enlisted the help of some of his superstar friends to guide the hopefuls; they included Kelly Clarkson, Jewel and Kenneth 'Baby Face' Edmonds.

Execs at NBC are yet to announce which celebrity mentors will serve the other judges, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Adam Levine.

The Voice returns on 10 September 2012.
