Men's & Women's RS-X Windsurfing - London 2012 Olympics - Results
Today's sailing finals at the London 2012 Olympics included the Men's and Women's RS-X Windsurfing finals. It was another windy and choppy day on the lake, which really tested these athletes abilities.
Here are your medal results:
The windsurfing craft are sort of like a surfboard with a sailboat sail attached. It is a very physical event, with the athletes having to constantly battle the wind and water to keep their craft moving in the right direction. Much like the other sailing events, the athletes navigate a marked course both racing against the clock and avoiding incurring penalty points. The lowest score wins.
