Men's Trap Shooting - London 2012 Olympics - Results
Today seems to be the day for close finishes, as the Men's Trap Shooting event at the London 2012 Olympics would also come down to a tie breaking round. The event featured top shooters from Croatia, Italy, Kuwait and Australia.
Here are your medal results:
With the top two finishers, Giovanni Cernogoraz of Croatia and Massimo Fabbrizi of Italy both tying an Olympic Record with their final score, gold and silver would come down to a shoot off. As if that weren't enough excitement, the bronze medal would also be determined by a shoot off between Fehaid Aldeehani of Kuwait and Michael Diamond of Australia.
Giovanni Cernogoraz would win the shoot off for gold and Fehaid Aldeehani won the bronze. I have to say this year's crop of shooters has been very impressive. There have not been many shooting events at this Olympics where someone didn't break a world or Olympic record.
Results:
Gold: Giovanni Cernogoraz - Croatia
Silver: Massimo Fabbrizi - Italy
Bronze: Fehaid Aldeehani - Kuwait
Congratulations to all the medal winners!
