Men's Lightweight Four - London 2012 Olympics - Medal Results

South Africa won their third gold of the London 2012 Olympics in the Men's Lightweight Four event.  Read on for all the medal results.

Today's Men's Lightweight Four was by far the closest and most exciting of the rowing events that I have watched so far.  There were four or five boats in contention for almost the whole race.  In the final leg of the race it looked like team GB were on their way to grabbing another rowing gold, but the South African team, who no one expected to win, surged up out of no where to overtake the home team and grab the victory.  What a finish!

Results:

Gold: South Africa

Silver: Great Britain

Bronze: Denmark

Congratulations to all the medalists!
