Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions - London 2012 Olympic - Results
American Matthew Emmons took to the range versus the always tough to beat Italian Niccolo Campriani in the Men's 50m Rifle 3 positions event at the London 2012 Olympics.
As with many of the other shooting events in London this year, the Olympic Record didn't stand a chance.
Here are your medal results:
Niccolo Campriani has been one of the top competitors in several of the shooting events I have watched during the London Olympics. In today's event, the men must fire at paper targets from the prone, kneeling and standing positions. Campriani was the latest shooter to take down an Olympic Record at these games and won a convincing victory.
The battle for the bronze medal position was a much closer race. In the end it was American Matthew Emmons who just edges out the shooter from France to win the bronze.
Results:
Gold: Niccolo Campriani - Italy
Silver: Jonghyun Kim - Korea
Bronze: Matthew Emmons - United States
Congratulations to all the medal winners!
