Melanie Amaro's debut album shelved?

It's a shame how the involved parties have handled the career of The X Factor season one winner Melanie Amaro. Now there is no telling when her album is coming out.

The label tells The Hollywood Reporter that the album has "no release date scheduled as of yet." Truly was supposed to come out a few months after her X Factor win in December 2011, then was pushed to late 2012, then March 2013, now no date at all.

This news also comes as all things seem ready to go for the most recent winner - Tate Stevens' April 23 album release date, and second runner-up Fifth Harmony and fourth place finalists Emblem 3 are busy recording music for a 2013 release. All I know is, they better not drop the ball with Fifth Harmony.
