A Epic Records rep confirmed to Pop & Hiss that although Amaro (who won The X Factor's inaugural season) and Astro's (who was a finalist that year) images have disappeared on Epic's roster online - they are still with the label. Earlier this week reports appeared onine that both Amaro and Astro were dropped from Epic.
Melanie appeared on Ustream last week and said,"There’s been a lot of stuff going on … it kinda brought me down. I keep believing that everything will happen in time. I’ve been really sad, I know everybody has been reading things. I won’t even go into that,” she said before later tearing up and stopping to compose herself.“But I do know that God has a plan for me regardless of what happens to me in the music industry.”
Poor thing. I really hope she can have some sort of breakthrough. They really dropped the ball before her career started.
