ABC's upcoming singing competition Duets premieres on May 24 at 8 PM EST with a 2-hour premiere! Kelly Clarkson, Sugarland's Jennfer Nettles, John Legend and Robin Thicke scoured the country to find worthy singers to become their duet partners.

Now, we get to meet them!

Partnered with Robin Thicke

Alexis Foster

Duets contestant Alexis Foster was born and raised in Knoxville, TN and is a graduate of University of Tennessee Class of 2012. Foster is ready to make her dreams come true on the debut season of Duets and will be partnered with Superstar Robin Thicke.

Robin Thicke has inspired Foster throughout the years with his timeless and soulful sound. He has helped her stay grounded and motivated. Now the college graduate will take a leap of faith and is taking time for herself to make her dreams come true and showcase her singing talents on Duets. Though not classically trained in music, she has acquired a weatlth of knowledge of singing and music in her school and church choirs.

Foster is ready to launch her career as a singer and show the world she can sing.

Olivia Chisholm

Olivia Chisholm’s musical background began in the 5th grade when she learned how to play the flute. The Charlotte, North Carolina native continued to expand her musical horizons by studying the piano, violin and guitar. Always aware that education came first, Chisholm wanted to get her college degree before seeking out a singing career, so now, a recent graduate at the age of 21, she is ready to embark on a career in music.

Bridget Carrington

Growing up in a small country town in Virgina, Bridget Carrington first discovered her love for music while singing gospel songs in church as a young child. There she formed her group, Perry and the Angels, with her two sisters and father. Now all grown up, Carrington works in the finance department for the city of Richmond and on weekends is busy performing with her new band, Horizon. Carrington feels truly blessed to sing with John Legend on Duets.

Johnny Gray

Fort Worth, TX native Johnny Gray grew up in a musical family, and his soulful voice can handle any genre from Reba McEntire to Brian McKnight. Gray grew up singing in church and credits his gospel upbringing for teaching him how to harmonize. He works as a Karaoke DJ and enjoys performing at special events and in local and national talent contests. He is excited for the opportunity to sing with John Legend and to share his voice with world.

J Rome

Maryland native J Rome comes to Duets ready to take center stage and make a name for himself. Singing since childhood, Rome’s musical influences include Gladys Knight & The Pips, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder and Chaka Khan. This charismatic and heartfelt singer continues to strive even after overcoming a botched tonsillectomy. The full time student and aspiring recording artist thanks his mother and two sisters for instilling music in his life and for the hard work and support they have shown him on his journey to become a professional singer.

A member of YouTube since 2007 with over one hundred thousand fans – Rome’s followers will now get to see him sing on televison with Jennifer Nettles.

John Glosson

Georgia native John Glosson is a special events and wedding business owner. Singing since childhood in his family church choir and throughout college, Glosson credits his wife for the support she has given him while he rehearses and performs his music in between balancing his work and family schedules. Always entertaining and endearing, once Glosson starts singing, his robust, powerful voice and moving musicality instantly command attention.

Glosson usually only performs in groups, but says he is now more than ready for his moment to showcase his musical talents with his hometown hero, Jennifer Nettles.

Jordan Meredith

Jordan Meredith grew up in a small town in Wisconsin. As a child her father used to sing to her, and that’s what first sparked her love for music. Now Meredith loves everything from country to pop to rock, and credits herself with always trying to be positive, spunky and making others happy with her voice. Whether she’s at work, beauty school, in the shower or in her car, Meredith is always singing -- and now she’s ready to do it on the stage. With the help of a supportive family and a coach like Clarkson, this beauty school student is ecstatic for the the opportunity of a lifetime that Duets will bring.

Jason Farol

Born and raised in Torrance, CA, Jason Farol’s lifelong dream to be a professional singer has been on hold in order because of his parents’ expectations for his higher education. Farol’s love of singing stems from his father’s jazz and blues background, finding inspiration from the likes of Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles. He has since fused his sound with R&B, finding his own soulful, unique voice. Determined to be happy and make his parents proud, Farol is ready to showcase his talents as the singer he was meant to be.

Inspired by Kelly Carkson’s journey to superstardom and in awe of her continued humility, Farol has finally found the courage to break out of his shell, confident their voices together will be unstoppable.
