Apparently Matthew Perry and Lizzy Caplan Broke Up Long Ago

Former Friends actor Matthew Perry and his girlfriend Lizzy Caplan from the current hit Masters of Sex have been together since 2006. Except apparently they haven't been together for a year and a half now and no one noticed.

As a source told Us Weekly, the pair broke up on the down low in 2012 and now we will forever question everything we know about the world.

"It happened a year and a half ago," said insider explained, dashing all our hopes and dreams. "They haven't been together for a long time."

And we guess we should have seen it coming. As Caplan revealed in a recent interview while avoiding questions about Perry, "I can stand right next to paparazzi, and I do that sometimes. I'm close with people who are far more famous, and they know how to avoid attention."

While Caplan has been busy with her new Showtime show, Perry is busy working others through their sobriety, recently turning his Malibu home into a sober living facility called the Perry House.
