Matthew Morrison to Cheryl Cole: Appear on Glee

Now that Cheryl Cole has been sacked from The X Factor, what are her options for making an impact on American audiences? Matthew Morrison has a simple answer: Glee.
Really now? Glad to know Mr. Schue still believes in his show.
If Glee featured Cheryl's singles maybe that might get viewers interested. But that's not really a good idea. Glee has been relying on "guest stars" to bolster interest in the show -- not the other way around. So having Cheryl Cole who is "unknown" coming in would hurt ratings even further.
From Daily Mail:
It's good to see that not all Americans have given up on Cheryl Cole making it across the Pond.Take Matthew Morrison for example who thinks the singer has still got what it takes - as long as she appears on Glee.
Morrison, who plays teacher Will Schuester in the hit TV show, said it would be a good way for the pop star to win over US audiences.
He said: 'Cheryl is on the front of every newspaper and magazine in the UK. It’s not the same in America, but I still think she can crack it over there. She is a talented girl.'
He added: 'Appearing in Glee would be a good way for Cheryl to crack America.'
