Mat Kearney on Kris Allen: "One take and it was amazing"

Jim Cantiello interviewed Mat Kearney who collaborated with Kris Allen on his new album. The track is still top-secret and it was recorded in early August.

Good job Jim! I need to tweet @EWMichaelSlezak about this. He's so on top of the Kris Allen news lately, maybe he's listened to this song already.

Two more weeks for the album to be complete, and 1 1/2 months until the album comes out on Nov. 17! So exciting.

I just hope that Kris would tweet more about the songs than the artists he is working with. Adam Lambert has been tweeting after recording sessions which gives the fans a feel of how things turned out. As much as I love Eg White's "Chasing Pavements" for example, who knows what kind of song they will produce -- hopefully a hit!
