Mary J. Blige to Sing National Anthem at World Series

Mary J. Blige is returning to baseball!

The R&B singer will perform the national anthem before Game 1 of the World Series on Wednesday night at Boston's Fenway Park. The game features the top two teams of the season, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Boston Red Sox, competing for the championship. The annual series represents one of TV's most-watched events, and this gig will provide Mary J. Blige with a terrific, high-profile platform to showcase her tremendous talent.

Of course, this is not Blige's first time performing at the World Series, having sung "The Star-Spangled Banner" before Game 6 of the 2009 World Series.
